The Expeditionist Family
Peace Shree,
The Peaceful Expeditionist
I am Peace Shree, and my journey is the foundation of Peaceful Peak Prep. I do not teach theory; I teach proven resilience forged in crisis. My expertise is not Only academic. it's tactical, personal, and absolutely non-negotiable.
Forged in Elements
My journey began in the extremes. I was born into the uncertainty of tornado-prone Kansas and icy Missouri, later relocating to the sub-zero winters of Fairbanks, Alaska. These landscapes cemented a fundamental truth early in my life: life is unpredictable, and preparedness is not optional.
A Foundation of Care & Resilience
My professional foundation was built as a Behavioral Health Technician in the mental health industry. For over a decade, I worked on the front lines of crisis, learning the critical skills of de-escalating, redirecting, and preventing situations from spiraling out of control. This taught me that the most powerful tool in any emergency is a calm, strategic mind.
I then transitioned to a world of high-stakes physical demand, becoming a Journeyman Line Clearance Tree Trimmer and Foreman. This job required vigilance, expert rigging, and operating complex equipment in adverse conditions. I carry the honor of being one of the first African-American women to excel in this field, proving that courage and competence are the only credentials that matter.
The Heart of the Expedition
I am the youngest of six children, and today, I live in Oregon near my sister and her family, surrounded by the community that grounds me. But my most important role is being a mother to my son, Pryce, The Pryce-less Navigator.
Pryce, who navigates the world with autism, taught me that true preparedness is about more than survival; it's about creating a safe, predictable world for the ones we love. He is my number one priority, and our journey together inspired the Pink Camo Philosophy: the belief that strength can be soft, that resilience can be quiet, and that we can be tactically prepared without losing our feminine power.
Guided by Serenity
Through every storm, from the physical dangers of tree trimming to the personal challenges of single motherhood. The Serenity Prayer has been my compass. It taught me to accept the chaos I cannot change and gave me the courage to build the life I can.
Peaceful Peak Preparedness is the result of that journey. It is my invitation to you to find your own peace, build your own resilience, and join us on the expedition to a life lived with intention.
“I carry the honor of being one of the first African-American women to excel in this field!”
Our expedition has navigated terrain far from the ordinary, forged through seasons of high-stakes resilience. At every elevation, we remain anchored in our values, making space for the intentional and enduring work of peaceful preparedness.
Pryce
The Pryce-less navigator
Meet The Pryce-less Navigator
Pryce is the heart and soul of our expedition. He is not just my son; he is my guide to a world seen through a different, more focused lens.
The Navigator's Passions
To know Pryce is to know his absolute dedication to what he loves. He is a master of the worlds of Mario and Sonic, finding joy and strategy in their adventures. But his true happy place is the cinema. For Pryce, going to the movies isn't just an activity; it is his favorite thing in the world, a sanctuary where stories come to life.
His World & Ours
Pryce is a gentle soul, a true sweetheart who feels deeply. He often keeps to himself, content in his own rich inner world, unless you get him talking about movies, where his passion truly shines.
Navigating the wider world can sometimes be a challenge. Loud noises, unfamiliar faces, and new places can cause anxiety, sometimes leading to a meltdown. But even in those difficult moments, his heart remains kind; after the storm passes, he often feels bad and apologizes, showing a level of empathy that is truly touching.
Our Journey Together
As he has grown, so has his ability to navigate these challenges. His autism has evolved, and with each year, he becomes more resilient. I’ve realized a simple, powerful truth: the more time we spend together, the better he gets. Our connection is the key to his growth.
Pryce is my number one priority. Every plan I make, every skill I learn, and every business I build is designed to ensure he has a life filled with safety, joy, and the freedom to be exactly who he is.
The Pryce-less Protocol: The Ultimate Test
My commitment to preparedness transformed when my son, Pryce, The Pryce-less Navigator, was diagnosed with autism. His unique journey became my greatest lesson. I realized that my most critical mission was not scaling a tree but securing his well-being.
His sensory needs amplified the need to be three steps ahead of every neurotypical parent. His challenges taught me that:
Our doomsday is a meltdown at the worst possible moment.
Preparedness is a psychological shield: it buys the mental calm I need to stabilize him, ensuring mission success.
This unique, high-stakes reality is why I left the line to found Peaceful Peak Preparedness.
Meet Cantik Shuri: Our Onyx Compass
Cantik Shuri is our fearless "black panther" and the Onyx Compass that completes our family circle. Her name Cantik, meaning “beautiful” in Indonesian and honoring the brilliant Shuri from Black Panther, perfectly reflects her sharp, "always-on-point" nature. Most importantly, she is a sweetheart who has made history in our home as the first animal to form a deep, bonded connection with Pryce.
